Cylindrical Roller Bearings

The cylindrical roller and raceway are linear contact bearings with linear contact between cylindrical roller and rollaway nest, large load capacity, mainly bearing radial load. The friction between the rolling element and the ring rib is small, and it is suitable for high-speed rotation. The bearing is a separable structure of inner ring and outer ring, which is convenient for installation and removal.
Cylindrical roller bearing without rib on inner or outer ring, inner ring and outer ring can move relative to each other in axial direction, can be used as free end bearing. Cylindrical roller bearing with double ribs on one side of the inner ring and outer ring and single rib on the other side of the ring can withstand axial load in one direction to a certain extent. Cylindrical roller bearings can be divided into single row, double row and multi row cylindrical roller bearings according to the number of rows of rolling elements. According to whether the ring has rib or not, it can be divided into NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF and other single row cylindrical roller bearings, and NNU, NN and other double row cylindrical roller bearings. Structure Design of Single-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Type N

The outer ring of the N-type bearing has no rib, and both sides of the inner ring have ribs. The displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing block in both axial directions can be allowed. NU type bearing has ribs on both sides of the outer ring and no ribs on the inner ring. It can also allow the displacement between the shaft and the bearing seat in two axial directions, so this kind of bearing is suitable for use as a bearing at the floating end.

Type NJ

Both sides of the outer ring of the NJ type bearing are provided with ribs, and one side of the inner ring is provided with a rib. It can bear a certain amount of unidirectional axial load. NF type outer ring has a rib on one side and inner ring has ribs on both sides. It can also bear a certain amount of unidirectional axial load, so this kind of bearing is suitable for unidirectional axial positioning bearing.

Type NUP

NFP

The NUP type bearing has a rib on both sides of the outer ring, a (fixed) single rib on one side of the inner ring, and a separable flat retaining ring on the other side. It can bear a certain amount of bidirectional axial load. One side of the NFP bearing outer ring is provided with (fixed) single rib, while the other side is a separable flat retainer ring, and both sides of the inner ring are provided with rib. It can also bear a certain amount of bidirectional axial load. This type of bearing can limit the axial displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing seat in two directions, so it is suitable for use as a fixed end bearing.

Type NH NJ+HJ

The NH type bearing is a combination of NJ type bearing and HJ type separate thrust collar. Since the inner ring of NUP bearing is short and the flat retaining ring is not fixed, it is inconvenient for application. NH bearing can take advantages of the width of the entire inner ring of NJ bearing to keep a closer fit with the shaft. Moreover, NH bearing is more convenient to be installed and disassembled. NH type bearing can limit the displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing seat in two axial directions, so it is suitable for use as a fixed end bearing.

Structure Design of Double-row Cylindrical Roller Bearings

Type NN型

NNU

The outer ring of NN type bearing has no rib, and the inner ring has ribs on both sides and middle rib in the middle, which can allow the shaft to produce axial displacement in two directions relative to the bearing seat. The outer ring of NNU type bearing has a rib on both sides and a middle rib in the middle, while the inner ring has no rib. It can allow the axial displacement in two directions between the shaft and the bearing seat, so it is suitable for the bearing at the floating end.

Type NNF

NNF bearing is a double-row full complement cylindrical roller bearing. The bearing consists of one outer ring with rib and one inner with double ribs. The roller is guided by the rib of the inner ring. The structure can withstand not only large radial load and axial load, but also overturning moment, so it is often used as a fixed end bearing. Both sides of NNF bearing adopt contact seal. Under good operating conditions, the NNF bearing with seals does not need to be maintained. If the bearing is in a water vapor or polluted environment for a long time and operates at medium and high speeds, the bearing can be lubricated through the lubricating oil groove and lubricating oil hole on the outer ring.
